Lubbock armed robber sentenced to 20-years in prison

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An armed robber that was arrested in March of 2008 and was on NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted wall has now been sentenced to 20-years in prison.

Monday, District Judge Cecil Puryear sentenced Rocky Hill to four 20-year sentences to run concurrently for holding up local liquor stores in 2008.

Hill pleaded guilty to all four counts of aggravated robbery that were charged against him.

Hill was involved in a series of hold-ups across the South Plains is behind bars. The robbery at Wayne's Beer and Wine in March of 2008 gave investigators the final clue they needed.  Also, Levelland Police wanted him for an armed robbery at J & J Food Mart.
