Texas Tech Bomb Scare - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Texas Tech students had a bomb scare Monday night over someone's lost homework. Tech security evacuated three floors of the Weymouth dorm when they found what appeared to be a pipe bomb in the stairwell.

Lubbock Police brought in a bomb dog, only to find out the suspicious object was just a PVC pipe with architectural drawings inside. In addition to Tech security and Lubbock Police, the Lubbock Fire Department and EMS also responded to the call.
