LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - I was very pleased to see news Wednesday that TABC officials dismissed the baseless protests that were holding up alcohol sales in Lubbock.
Two weeks ago I called on state elected officials to investigate TABC for bypassing the will of the people and not moving forward with alcohol permits. Consider this; I'm still not convinced that TABC shouldn't be overhauled, but I will give them this. They had the sense enough to finally move on after the public outcry. A public who, by the way, had already decided the issue back in May.
Now all that is left is for the lawyers of the protestors to see the light and move on to cases they can win.
