Thursday afternoon I-27 rollover sends one to the hospital

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A rollover accident on the Interstate Thursday afternoon has a woman hospitalized.

Just before 1:00 p.m., 48-year-old Cheryl Fergerson was headed southbound on I-27 when she merged into a lane of a pickup.

The driver of the pickup, whose name has not been released, swerved to miss Fergerson's SUV causing the pickup to rollover.

The driver of the pickup was transported by AeroCare. The name and the condition of the driver of the pickup has not yet been released.
