LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Hope Lodge of Lubbock needs your help to make this free, temporary home away from home cancer treatment center a reality.
The Hope Lodge still needs $379,431 by September 30th to complete the funding for construction. In 14 days, supporters have raised $120,569 for the American Cancer Society's "38 Days to Hope" campaign.
The Society is within 5 percent of raising the $11 million needed to complete construction on Hope Lodge Lubbock. The remaining 5 percent must be raised by Sept. 30 in order to secure a $1 million challenge grant.
To build Hope Lodge Lubbock and sustain its operations, ACS must raise a grand total of $15 million. To date, the Hope Lodge capital campaign has raised more than $9.2 million.
