Extra Strength Pain Medicines are Not Always Better

When a headache strikes, go for regular instead of extra-strength relief -- that's according to the "Medical Letter," which says there is no evidence that a thousand milligrams of Acetaminophen is more effective than regular strength.

Since the FDA continues to warn that accidental over-use of Acetaminophen is linked to liver damage, the "Medical Letter" says why not stick with regular dose pills for headache relief unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
