First alcohol permit granted since May election

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock history is made as the first alcohol permit inside city limits is issued.  

Two days after the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission rejected some Lubbock residents protests about alcohol sales in Lubbock. Standard Sales Company received their license. The company is a wholesale distributor of beer and other Anheauser-Busch products.
