Others follow Lubbock's lead on Super Precincts & voting - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Back in 2006 Lubbock County pioneered a new way to vote called "Super Precincts." This coming November three other counties will follow Lubbock's lead.  The others are Colin, Erath and Galveston Counties.

Here's how it works. The county sets up fewer voting locations.  But you can go to any voting location, not just the one for your neighborhood precinct. So far, Lubbock County officials have been very pleased with the outcome of super precincts.
