The NBA is suspending Indiana Pacers coach Isiah Thomas for two games. Thomas, the Pacers' Al Harrington, and Toronto's Morris Peterson were ejected during a game on Friday night.
Thomas was on the floor during some shoving by the two players.
NBA Senior Vice President Stu Jackson says, "Coaches are allowed on the floor as peacemakers during an altercation, not as combatants," and he says, "Coach Thomas did not act as peacemaker during this incident."
Assistant Brendan Malone is serving as interim coach.
