One person in critical condition after Paducah stabbing - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One person has been hospitalized after a Friday morning stabbing near Paducah. Two men got into a fight around midnight on Fm 1038, about six miles southeast of Paducah.

Cottle County Sheriff Kenneth Burns says 42-year-old Rick Schubarth stabbed 25-year-old Jason Smith multiple times.

EMS took Smith to Matador, where he was airlifted to a hospital in Lubbock with critical injuries.Schubarth remains in the Cottle County jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
