LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Governor Rick Perry denies any involvement in the recent resignation of a Texas Tech Regent. According to the Associated Press, Perry said he had nothing to do with Mark Griffin's decision to resign.
Griffin told NewsChannel 11 that he was pressured to step down by a former Perry aide after he endorsed Perry's rival, Kay Bailey Hutchison. But Perry said Friday that he didn't speak to anyone about Griffin resigning.
