Afternoon crash kills elderly man in Hockley County - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - DPS released information about a deadly crash in Hockley County. It happened around noon Wednesday, 10 miles south of Levelland on Highway 385.

The driver of a 2009 Kia lost control and the vehicle rolled two and half times in a farm field. DPS says 80-year-old Leo Wenzel of Littlefield died about an hour later at Covenant Health System. DPS says the driver was 57- year-old Teresa Berne of Brownfield.

Troopers say alcohol was a factor.
