A man charged with several burglaries in Lubbock faced another grand jury on Tuesday. This time, the grand jury indicted 18 year-old Harley Piatt for aggravated robbery and for attempting to tamper with a witness.
Piatt had been indicted on January 21st for a separate burglary. In September, Piatt and two other people tried to steal a safe from a gas station. They managed to drag the safe out of the store, but had to leave it there because it was too heavy. Piatt is in the Lubbock County Jail on a total of $280,000 bond.
