Tech Med Students Pay Respect to Astronauts - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Texas Tech Health Sciences Center hosted one of two memorials for Columbia's astronauts on Tuesday. The ceremony was held near the flagpoles.

James Fay, second year medical student, and President of the Health Sciences Center Student Government Association, said, "The students wanted to pay their respects, with their own special service."

Fay, himself, worked for NASA before becoming a medical student.
