LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The percentage of college students who are sick with flu-like symptoms is ever increasing.  The American College Health Association reports that 83% of colleges are now dealing with new flu cases.  At Washington State, more than 2,500 students have fallen ill with the flu and one college student from Cornell University has died from complications of the flu.

Texas Tech is reporting 16-cases of the flu, but they are not tracking whether those students are living in the dorm or elsewhere.  Tech officials are suggesting that any Tech student with a fever of 100 degrees or higher should go to the Student Wellness Center for advice and treatment.  You can learn more on how the university is handling the Swine Flu by Clicking Here.
