City considers annexation on the southwest side

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock continues growing to the southwest.  This week the city council will consider annexing 49 acres.  

The proposed annexation is just a few blocks away from 66th and Upland. The owner of the property is Family Harvest Church and the church has petitioned the city for a voluntary annexation.
