Rowe announces new LSO appointments

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock County Sheriff Kelly Rowe announced on Monday, after his swearing in ceremony, that he has made several appointments within the Sheriff's Office.

Major Cody Scott has been appointed to Chief Deputy of Law Enforcement.  Major Danny Downes has been appointed to Chief Deputy of the Detention Branch.

Along with the appointments of the Chief Deputy positions, Captain Kim Howell has been appointed Major of the Detention Branch.

Sheriff Rowe announced that these appointments were made to help facilitate the future missions of the Sheriff's Office and to establish continuity within the departments.

These appointments by Sheriff Rowe confirm that he is working towards filling positions needed to make his top command staff complete and to start the move forward under his direction.
