Lubbock Sheriff Kelly Rowe deputizing officers Tuesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Just hours after taking oath to be the new Lubbock County Sheriff on Monday, Kelly Rowe announced three new appointments to his top commanding staff.

On Tuesday, Sheriff Rowe will be conducting the deputation of the Law Enforcement officers in the Lubbock County Sheriff's academy at 1:00 p.m. and the Detention officers on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 7:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Rowe appointed Major Danny Downes as the new Chief Deputy of the Detention Branch, Major Cody Scott as Chief Deputy of Law Enforcement, and Captain Kim Howell as the new Major of the Detention Branch.
