Brady officially announces candidacy for State Representative - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Tuesday, Lubbock attorney Zach Brady officially announced his campaign for State Representative of District 83 at the Frazier Pavilion on the Texas Tech Campus.  That puts him on track to challenge current Representative Delwin Jones for his seat. Jones says that he has gotten used to having challengers and is not worried.

During Brady's announcement, he says, "Texas Tech is obviously paramount to any representative of this district." He adds, "I told the people here that on my first day in office I'll file a Voter-ID bill that moves past a lot of the petty that has been tying up the Legislature for the last two sessions on that issue." 

Brady plans to focus on water and agricultural issues as well.
