Record low for the first day of Fall


LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD)- Welcome to the first morning of Fall, and it is the coldest morning since mid- April. Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport recorded 41°, which is a record for September 23.

This morning the conditions remain mostly fair and cold with patchy frost possible. This afternoon skies will be partly cloudy with cool temperatures, tonight expect cloudy skies and chilly temperatures.

Thursday there is a slight chance of rain in the forecast, with cloudy skies. Friday will remain cloudy, but temperatures will be warmer. For weekend plans expect a mostly sunny, and much warmer Saturday.
