LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - NewsChannel 11 has just learned of a massive sewage leak in east Lubbock.
Officials don't know exactly how big it is, but they do know it will be more than 100,000 gallons. City officials first said the leak was on 4th Street, but then updated the location of the leak to 14th Street.
Officials do not think it will impact the nearby fairgrounds but there is concern that it could get into the Canyon Lake system.
The city notified officials with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
