LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -  Drive-thrus aren't just for burgers and fries anymore, dozens of cars lined up at the Austin Health Department Wednesday for free seasonal flu shots.  People didn't even have to get out of their cars to get the shot; they just simply rolled down their windows and rolled up their sleeves.  Austin officials say the number of cars in line was much more than they expected.

"Probably due to the heightened awareness of H1N1, we're just seeing more people than we have in previous years," said Kurt Becker, Immunization Program Manager in Austin.

The Lubbock Health Department has a drive-thru for season flu shots planned for Tuesday, October 6th.
