Women’s Tennis set for Lobo Invitational

LUBBOCK, Texas  - The Texas Tech women's tennis squad continues their fall season at the at the Lobo Invitational on the University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico,  beginning on Friday and continuing on Saturday and Sunday. Play will begin each day at 9 AM Mountain Time.

All matches will be played at the Linda Estes Tennis Complex. On Friday, there will be one doubles draw and two singles. On both Saturday and Sunday, there will be one singles and one doubles draw.

The Lady Raiders will vie for the top spots in singles and doubles against the University of New Mexico, Arizona, Boise State, and the University of Denver.

Texas Tech will enter eight singles and four doubles. The four doubles pairings for this fall season invitational are Kelsy Garland (Jr) and Liz Ullathorne (Fr), Stefanie Peana (So) and Natalie Leitch (So), Kerryn Potgieter (Sr) and Caroline Starck (Fr), and Lorena Aviles (Fr) and Mia Matuszak (Fr).

Following the Lobo Invitational, Coach Petty's squad travels to Columbia, Missouri for the Mizzou "Ace for a Cure" from October 2-4. Their final tournament of the fall campaign will be the ITA Regionals in Waco from October 16-20.
