LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock Police officer is hospitalized after a vehicle collided with his motorcycle on Friday morning.
The accident happened just before 10:30 a.m. at 10th and Avenue Q.
Police say the driver of an SUV, a 71-year-old woman, failed to yield the right of way when she turned in front of the motorcycle.
Officer Tim Spann suffered serious injuries, and was listed in good condition at Covenant Medical Center Friday night.
