Lubbock museums take part in Museum Day

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Saturday, The Buddy Holly Center and Silent Wings Museum took part in the 5th Annual Museum Day presented by Smithsonian Magazine. It's the first time the city's municipal museums have taken part.

Across the country museums opened their doors free of charge. Last year, more than 200,000 people attended events in all 50-states and Puerto Rico.
