LPD investigating fatal accident

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - News Channel 11 was on the scene this morning of fatal motorcycle accident that occured around 8:14 a.m. Monday.

The motorcyclist was westbound on FM 1585 when he was struck by an SUV, in the intersection.

Investigators say the SUV was southbound on Quaker, turning east onto 1585. The driver of the SUV turned, hitting the the motorcyclist.

Authorities say four teenagers were in the SUV headed to school, none of the teen s were injured, but the motorcyclist was killed. Lubbock Police have identified the motorcyclist as 37 year- old Charles Castle of Lubbock.
