Tech Pom Squad Headed for Nationals

You've seen them perform on the sidelines at football games, and now, you can help them win a national championship. On Saturday, the Tech pom squad held a fundraiser at United Supermarket on 82nd St. and Boston.

On display was the official Tide racecar. Between dance routines, they held a silent auction. The money raised will be used to pay for expenses as they travel to represent Texas Tech in the National Dance Championship.

"We're trying to get to nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. We're trying to get there to compete against other teams in the Big XII and just really represent Texas Tech University and get our name out there," says pom squad member, Krisin Lodal.

If you'd like to help the Tech pom squad, you can call Angie at (806) 742-2192.
