Former President to speak at LCU event Tuesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Tuesday evening former president George W. Bush is headed to Lubbock.  He will speak at a dinner program to benefit Lubbock Christian University.

Tickets have long since been sold out. The event starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday inside the Banquet Hall of the Lubbock Civic Center. Lubbock Christian hopes to raise at least $125,000 for scholarships. There are 900 people expected for one portion of the event and 1,400 for another.
