Steve Wariner provides entertainment at the South Plains Fair

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Wednesday night, music recording artist Steve Wariner performed a concert at the Panhandle South Plains Fair. Wariner has been recording hits since the 1980's; songs like "Some Fools Never Learn."

He talked to NewsChannel 11 before his big performance, says "I was coming in and I was like yeah, that's the Buddy Holly statue."

"We played and stayed here many, many times," says Wariner.  "I love this part of the world. I'm not just saying that. Some of the greatest music fans are right here. We went down Mac Davis blvd. So, it's fantastic."

Some other acts still to come are Jr. Brown, Boyz II Men, and Johnny Rivers.
