UBS announces urgent appeal for blood donors

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - United Blood Services has announced an urgent appeal for blood donations. So far this week, the demand for Type O Negative blood has outpaced the supply.

Donors must be at least 16-years-old and be in good health.

Everyone is encouraged to donate blood and take advantage of the opportunity to give the gift that will make a real difference in someone's life. The priceless gift of life costs nothing but about an hour of your time.

Donors may call 797-6804 or visit www.bloodhero.com to make a convenient appointment to donate.
