Lamesa man sentenced to ten years - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lamesa man who admitted to defrauding area investors out of millions of dollars will spend the next decade behind bars.

Rod Stringer pleaded guilty to running a ponzi scheme back in July. Friday morning, his sentence was handed down in Lubbock Federal Court. Stringer must now pay more than 7-million-dollars in restitution. Along with jail time, Stringer will be subject to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
