LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A long-running dispute between Lubbock City Hall and Atmos Energy is about to come to an end.
Earlier this year, both sides agreed that Atmos Energy was entitled to a rate hike, but there was still a dispute over exactly how much. Atmos says that they should be worth $3.8 million, but a consultant for the City of Lubbock says that it should only $2.6 million.
This week, the Lubbock City Council is expected to approve $2.8 million worth of natural gas rate hikes inside the city.
