LUBBOCK, Texas - The Big 12 Conference announced Monday morning that Texas Tech's Big 12 Conference road game at Nebraska will be televised as part of the conference's network package on ABC. Kickoff from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb., on Oct. 17 is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
The game will mark the fifth straight televised game of the season for the Red Raiders as contests against No. 2 Texas (ABC), No. 17 Houston (ESPN2) and New Mexico (FSN) were aired nationally. This weekend's home conference opener against Kansas State is scheduled for 6 p.m. on FSN.
Tech, currently 3-2 on the season, has won three straight over Nebraska (3-1), including last season's 37-31 overtime win in Lubbock and a 34-31 last-second win in Lincoln in 2005. The Huskers are at Missouri on Thursday, before hosting the Red Raiders.
