The Polar Express Train Ride will return to Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Polar Express Train Ride will return to Lubbock beginning November 13th through December 19th (except November 26th) from 6pm to 8pm at the site of Lubbock Water Rampage, 6602 Marsha Sharp Fwy.

Inspired by the award winning book by Chris Van Allsburg, the magic of the Polar Express will come to live as the train makes a round trip journey to the North Pole. Passengers are invited to wear their pajamas on the train. En route to the North Pole, the book , the Polar Express will be read.'

Music from the movie will be played and passengers will be served hot chocolate and cookies by the chefs. At the North Pole Santa Clause and the elves will await the passengers and then board the train to meet the children and sing Christmas carols. Each child will receive a silver bell from Santa Claus. At the event site a winter fun land will be available for attendees to visit before or after the train ride. A gift store will also be open.

Tickets will be on sale beginning Monday, October 7st and may be purchased through ticket web, a national ticketing agency, online at www.ticketweb.com or by phone at 1-866-468-7621. All ticket sales are final.
