LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - After more than a month of testimony, a Lubbock County jury has decided to spare the life of a man who admitted to killing five people.
NewsChannel 11's Katie Bauer has been following the capital murder trial of Levi King and was in the courtroom on Tuesday when the sentence was given.
Levi King confessed to killing three members of a Pampa family in September 2005. He also confessed to the murder of a Missouri couple, hours earlier.
The jury deliberated for about 90 minutes on Monday, and continued first thing on Tuesday morning.
They returned to the courtroom just after 4:00 p.m., and decided to sentence Levi King to three life sentences, without the possibility of parole.
