LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The H1N1 vaccine is already on its way to each state, but while we wait, the Department Of Health And Human Services has produced a series of public service announcements aimed at prevention.
One PSA says, "Wash your hands often with soap and water.. cough into a sleeve or tissue.. stay home if you are sick."
With so much hype surrounding the swine flu, doctors are also warning don't forget the very real dangers of the seasonal flu, particularly among the elderly. "The flu is the flu. We've had over 600 deaths so far," said Kathy Sebelius, with Health and Human Services.
The priority group for H1N1 vaccinations includes anyone less than 24 years-old, health care and child care workers, pregnant women and adults with health problems.
