LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Texas Tech fans that want to take advantage of new seating areas in the north end zone at Jones AT&T Stadium will get their chance beginning with the game against Texas A&M on Oct. 24.
Texas Tech officials have announced that the new seating in the northeast and northwest corners will be open beginning with the game against the Aggies. Those tickets are currently on sale for $95 each with group ticket rates also available.
The new seating in the north end zone signals the first major seating expansion at Jones AT&T Stadium since 1970 and will raise capacity to 58,930 with the addition of the 6,100 seats.
