LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD)- A former Wayland Baptist University student was killed, and four others were injured after a drunk driver collided with their vehicle south of Hale Center early Sunday morning.

21-year-old Ashleah Richards of Portales, New Mexico was killed when 48-year-old Jimmy Scott Barnhill, of Midland hit her vehicle head on just before 4:00 a.m. Sunday.

He was driving the wrong way in the north bound lane of Interstate 27.
