TTU quarterback named Big 12 player of the week

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - In a press release from the Texas Tech Athletic Department, Red Raider quarterback Steven Sheffield has earned Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

He received the award after throwing for 490 yards and seven touchdowns in his first start of a game in the Tech vs. Kansas State game.
