LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Independent School District will be administering the PSAT test to all district 10th grade students, at no cost to the student or family.
Lubbock ISD's goal in testing all sophomore students is to help identify students who would be successful in our Pre-AP and AP (Advanced Placement) and IB (International Baccalaureate) classes. LISD would also be able to identify even more sophomores to recommend to the Superintendent's Scholar Program, a summer program designed to increase student success on the PSAT/NMSQT in their junior year, and in SAT testing as part of their college admission process.
Lubbock ISD will administer the PSAT on the morning of Wednesday, October 14, in all four high schools. Students should receive scores back in December of this year.
