Hit and Run Ends With An Arrest On Drug Charges

Four people went to the hospital after a hit and run in Central Lubbock around 2:30 Thursday morning. A Saturn stalled in the 4000 block of University. Gracie Alvarado-Gonzales was standing outside the car when an Isuzu Rodeo slammed into it. Gonzales got stuck under the Rodeo and was dragged for about one hundred yards.

She is at UMC in critical condition. Her three passengers were taken to covenant with minor injuries.

Police arrested the driver of the Rodeo, Spencer Sosebee, a short time later. He is in the Lubbock County Jail charged with failure to stop and render aid and possession of marijuana.
