LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Enjoy an elegant evening of amazing culinary encounters brought to you by the region's most original and talented chefs while your donations go towards March of Dimes' mission of improving the health of babies.
Chefs scheduled to appear include: Lloyd Christman from the Lubbock Country Club, L.E. Anderson from Honeychild, Toby Blakely from Overton Park Hotel, Robert Madrano from the Lubbock Club, Twain Henry, Tee McGraw from Lakeridge Country Club, Catherine Page from My Lips Are Sealed, Carlos Rangel from Red Carpet Restaurant, Benito Santos from Carino's, Rick Savoca from Stella's, Starbuck's Coffee, Lalith Wimalarathne from Lalith's Culinary Creations and Chris Wilson, CEC from United Market Street.
Along with the culinary skills of these great chefs, there will also be a live and silent auction of items including, but not limited to: Angel Fire Ski Vacation, Champion Ranch Vacation and Horseshoe Bay Vacation.
March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction: "Join the Harvest" is Friday, October 16th, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Signature Chefs Auction is the second largest fundraiser for March of Dimes and organizers are hoping to raise more than $150,000. Eighty-percent of the money raised will stay right here in Lubbock improving the health of babies in our area.
