LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - While many clinics and pharmacies around the Lubbock area are completely out of the Seasonal-Flu vaccine, University Medical Center said Wednesday, that some of their clinics and private physicians still have some available to the general public.
Clinics that still have the Seasonal-Flu vaccines available:
The Office of Dr. Kenneth Rice, in the UMC Medical Plaza in Lubbock
The Garza County Health Clinic in Post
The Idalou Community Health Center
The Shallowater Clinic
Walk-in appointments are available at the locations listed above.
Also remember that many private physicians and clinics in Lubbock have the Seasonal-Flu vaccine available to their patients only but not to the general public, so be sure to check with them flirst.
If you miss out on the opportunity from UMC and still want to get vaccinated, the CDC is saying that there will be more than 70-million doses of the Seasonal-flu vaccine available by November or December.
