LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Every space that is available in downtown Slaton will be covered with art on Saturday, October 17th for the second Annual Arts on the Slaton Square event.
Downtown Slaton will fill with art from more than 25 artist in 17 different venues. The event will open at 11 a.m. and will run until 7 p.m.
Artisans and arts and craft vendors will have booths on the city square.
The day of arts activities will also be filled with music from a wide variety of artists playing in the downtown mini-park at 9th and Lubbock Streets; artisans and arts and crafts vendors on the city hall parking lot and food vendors on Lubbock Street south of city hall.
The event was organized by the newly created Yellow House Arts Alliance and the Slaton Chamber of Commerce.
