KCBD celebrates Pinktober

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - If you noticed a lot of people wearing pink around town on Friday, that's because October 16th has been named by the Susan G. Koman foundation as Passionately Pink Day. 

It's one more effort by that group to promote awareness of breast cancer and we followed suit at Newschannel 11, with a pink party, complete with pink treats and a pretty prize going to the perfect pink person, congratulations Laura DeLeon.
