LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Some church-goers are praying a new drink called "Fruit of the Spirit" will start a dialogue among Christians about good health.

"We're getting attention and we're getting a platform to be able to talk about the message we want to truly get out there, which is we need to take better care of ourselves," said Deana Nayor, with Fruit of the Spirit.  It's a conversation they believe churches need to be having with their members.

Nayor says the marketing strategy behind Fruit of the Spirit isn't hard to swallow and that there is an important connection between spiritual health and a healthy body.  The drink combines fruits of the Bible, including frankincense and myrrh, which are promoted as natural inflammatories.

Fruit of the Spirit is not available to purchase in stores. Only Christian Ministries that partner with Fruit of the Spirit have the drink.
