Burkhart Center for Autism holds free lectures Wednesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Even though Jazz Summers is autistic, she is a musician and student at the University of Central Arkansas.  She and her mom have written a book called "Autism is Not a Life Sentence," and they are inviting you to join an interactive discussion Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Texas Tech Allen Theater. 

Then, Wednesday evening, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., they will share their story at the Civic Center Theater. Both sessions are free and sponsored by the Burkhart Center for Autism.
