The days are numbered for searchers in East Texas looking for shuttle debris.

Spring growth threatens to hide or cover the debris before it can be found. Searchers say they only have about 30 to 40 days left to cover a 120 square mile area. If they don't get it covered before spring, the job will be much, much harder.
