Sperm donor passes on dangerous heart condition to children

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - He didn't know it when he donated his sperm to a sperm bank, but officials say now that sperm donor passed on a dangerous heart condition to at least 9 of 24 children back in the 1990's. 

One of those children died of heart failure at age two. This is only the second documented case of a disease inherited through sperm donation. You'll find all the details in this week's Journal of The American Medical Association.
