Your next trip to Covenant Medical Center could cost you just a little bit more. Starting February 23rd Covenant will charge a fee for parking in its garages.
Parking will be free for the first 90 minutes. Two dollars for up to two and a half hours. Three dollars for parking more than three and half hours, and four dollars for more than four and a half hours.
Covenant says the new fee has nothing to do with the recent layoffs and other budget cuts. The hospital says the new parking policy will be better for its patients and guests.
